Windows 10 Is Currently Running On Over 50 Million Devices

Windows 10 OS update was officially launched on the 29th of July and that makes it slightly over 2 weeks since its launch. While we reported that in about 24 hours after release, Microsoft announced that over 14 millions devices are currently running on the OS, we haven’t given any update since then.

Latest report from WinBeta has it that over 50 million devices are currently running on the windows 10 OS update. While 50 million seems like a pretty awesome milestone in just about 2 weeks, it cannot be compared to the milestone Microsoft has aimed to achieve in the two to three years. Microsoft aims at a whooping number of one billion machines to be running on windows 10 in the next two to three years. We will be waiting till them to see how far they have done.

If you are still running on windows 7 or 8.1, I honestly wonder what you or your PC is waiting for. If you are using a genuine windows 7 or 8.1 OS, upgrading is free and easy to accomplish as we had written on. If you had placed a reserve and still waiting for an update. Keep waiting as Microsoft had said it would take days or weeks before you get the upgrade notification on your PC. However, if you are running out of patience, just follow our guide on how to upgrade and you are good to go.
