Tecno Phantom 5 Officially Launched In Nigeria – See Specs & Price

For the past few months, we have constantly been seeing Tecno launch new devices. The Tecno boom J7, Camon C5 as well as Camon C8 are latest devices from the OEM released within the last 3 to 4 months.


Today been the 16th of September 2015, Tecno officially launched its premium flagship device, the Phantom 5 which has been making rounds in the news off-late.

The Tecno’s flagship Phamtom 5 launching was held at the Sheraton Hotel, ikeja, Lagos state. Gracing the event were various tech and non tech personalities. Music celebs like M.I and Chudy K were also present at the event.

In the course of the event, MD Tecno Mobile Nigeria, Mr Chidi Okwonkwo said:

TECNO PHANTOM 5 is a premium smart phone fully optimized for work and leisure. There are only a few smart phones in the market that boasts MediaTek TFA9890 Octa-core chipset—PHANTOM 5 is one of them which makes it a truly 5.5” screen portable PC.

He also talked on the Tecno phantom 5 selling points as a device which comes packed with a fingerprint sensor (We are guessing this is the first device with fingerprint sensor), 4G LTE connectivity, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, runs on octo-core processor, 13 MP back camera, 8 MP front camera with soft flash.
