Although the devices were announced earlier this year at the IFA in Berlin, Lenovo has finally launched the Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m. The two devices boast of amazing features and massive batteries.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 comes in a 5.5-inch 1080p display with a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch, all protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Underneath the hood of the device is an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM. There is also an internal memory of 32GB than can be expandable to 128GB with a microSD card. At the back of the Lenovo P1 is a 13-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera rests in front. The device also runs on a non-removable 5000mAh battery that brags of 44 hours of talk-time.
The Lenovo Vibe P1m on the other hand is a mediocre version of the Vibe P1. It boasts of a smaller 5-inch 720p display with pixel density of 294 pixels per inch, and runs on a Mediatek processor. At the back of the device is an 8-megapixel camera, and in front is a 5-megapixel camera. There is 2GB of RAM and an internal memory of 16GB expandable to up to 32GB. There is also a 4000mAh battery powering this device that boasts of about 16 hours of talk-time. Not as impressive as the bigger Vibe P1.
Both devices run on Android Marshmallow and will be available on sale from October 27 in India, and although no detail was given about availability in other markets, the Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m should cost about N50,000 and N25,000 respectively.
