The OnePlus X was launched today at a press event in London hosted by OnePlus. The device is OnePlus’s mid-range option to the OnePlus 2. It is 0.5-inch smaller than the flagship and comes with toned-down specifications.
The OnePlus X features a 5.0-inch AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is a 1080 x 1920 display resolution placing pixel density at 441 pixels per inch.
The OnePlus X runs on Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM. There is a 13-megapixel camera resting at the back if the device and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter in front.
The OnePlus X comes preloaded with Android Lollipop and is powered by a non-removable 2525mAh battery.
The availability of the OnePlus X will be done selectively. It will first be available in Europe on November 5, and it will move on to the United States in November 19 for $249. There will be a Ceramic edition that will be available in India and Europe from November 24 for a slightly expensive price.
