HTC recently launched the One A9 last month which was touted by the media as an iPhone 6 running on Android. However, an executive of the company came out to defend HTC’s design of the One A9 by pointing a finger at Apple, and claiming they were the copycats.
Now though, the Taiwanese company is getting ready to add a new device to their Desire line, the HTC Desire 728G. The device will have 3G connectivity and dual SIM capabilities. It will also feature a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
The HTC Desire 728G will have an inbuilt memory of 16GB which can be expanded to up to 2TB. Underneath the device is a 2800mAh battery which boasts of 21 hours of talk-time. There will be a 13-megapixel camera at the back of the HTC Desire 728G and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
The device will also run on Android Lollipop preloaded with Sense UI on top, and will be powered by an octa-core Mediatek processor.
There is no news on the availability date, but the HTC Desire 728G will cost around N55,000.
