When UMi first announced the ROME smartphone priced at around $90, the phone seemed as the most affordable based on specs.
With a price tag of $90, the UMi ROME features really cools specs as 3GB RAM, 64 bit Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor, 5.5-inch display with resolution of 720 × 1280. The smartphone also sports a metal frame design around it’s 7.9mm chassis.
Elephone has decided to reply UMi by announcing the Elephone M3. The M3 is powered by MediaTek’s Octa-Core Helio P10 (MT6755) processor, sports USB Type-C. What more? The phone will likely be running android 6 marshmallow OS under the hood with a full metal body design.
While the M3 may seem promising, no further specs in regards the smartphone has been stated yet. However, the M3 is expected to ship with a price tag of $99. Please note that price may vary according to market as stipulated prices do not apply to western market.
