Samsung Announces the 2016 Galaxy A3, A5, A7 series smartphones

While we are closely looking at the end of 2015, mobile brands are not taking a break just yet as we are seeing new devices being launched this month.

We are looking forward to infinix launching the Zero 3 smartphone on the 15th of this month and Samsung has just announced it’s 2016 A series smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 specs
The company’s 2016 A series smartphones includes the A3, A5 and the A7. Earlier before now, the 2016 A5 specs had leaked on the Chinese regulatory authority, TENAA website and the 2016 model sure passes that of the A5 launched last year.

The new A series smartphones from Samsung features the company’s latest design language (same present on Galaxy S6 and Note 5) with premium metal and glass finish. Optical image stabilization, fingerprint scanner and Samsung Pay features are also put in place on the Samsung A5 and A7.

Galaxy A3:

Galaxy A5:

  • Network: 4G LTE Cat 6
  • Display: 5.2-inch Full HD (1920×1080)
  • Processor: Octa-core 1.6 GHz
  • RAM: 2 GB
  • Storage: 16 GB (upto 128 GB microSD)
  • Camera: 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front
  • Battery: 2900 mAh with support for fast charging

Galaxy A7:

  • Network: 4G LTE Cat 6
  • Display: 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080)
  • Processor: Octa-core 1.6 GHz
  • RAM: 3 GB
  • Storage: 16 GB (upto 128 GB microSD)
  • Camera: 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front
  • Battery: 3300 mAh with support for fast charging

Information in regards which chipset the smartphone will be using hasn’t been disclosed yet. However, more information on the Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 including pricing will come to limelight when the smartphone becomes readily available as the 2016 A series smartphones will be available in China by Mid-December followed by other countries later in 2016.
