It’s actually funny and quite scary, the kind of devices we come across these days with their price tags. While we have often seen and heard of sophisticated phones with a relatively high price, some android device cost less than how much you spend on a meal in some cafeteria. Yeah!
Sometime back, I talked on an android phone from LG known as Tracfone which cost just around N2000. And while I thought that was the cheapest, I was wrong.
Freedom 251, a phone manufactured in India in partnership with the government of India, cost only Rs 251 which is equivalent to less than $4.
I think I know what’s going through your head, the specs of the phone is below standard right? Well, the device sports almost same specs as some low-range smartphones we often come across. You are looking at a 4-inch qHD IPS display, 1.3GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 3.2 megapixels back camera and 0.3 megapixels front-facing camera, 1450mAh battery and more.
