Lagos Holds The Highest Number Of Internet Users In Nigeria – Report

Lagos holding the number one spot amongst the number of internet users by states in Nigeria, certainly shouldn’t come as a surprise.

The National Burean of Statistics (NBS), recently released reports of the number of active lines and internet subscribers according to states in Nigeria. This report is basically for the 1st quarter of 2016.

According to the National Burean of Statistics (NBS), there are about 148.74 million active voice subscribers in Nigeria. Airtel holds about 22.7% of the total number while Glo holds about 23.2%. Despite the recent happenings and the company disconnecting quite a huge number of subscribers, MTN still holds the highest share of about 38%.
