Don’t exactly like the Pokemon Go game anymore or you want to get ride of your obsession for the game? Just CHEAT and you could get banned afterwards. Simple as ABC.
Niantic Labs, the creator(s) of Pokemon Go, just made an update to it’s terms of service page regarding appealing a ban.
Niantic Labs has specifically mentioned that those who use bots or cheater apps in playing the game, may get banned with recourse. Thus, leading to a lifetime ban from playing Pokemon Go.
[Reasons for a ban] includes, but is not limited to: falsifying your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and/or accessing Pokémon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner including through the use of third party software.
Our goal is to provide a fair, fun and legitimate game experience for everyone. We will continue to work with all of you to improve the quality of the gameplay, including ongoing optimization and fine tuning of our anti-cheat system. If you believe your account has been terminated in error incorrectly, you can appeal that termination through this form. For privacy reasons, please do not post appeals on social media.
While that stands, it’s unclear how the creators intends tracking those who use bots or cheater apps in playing the game.
Although Niantic Labs specifically addressed the use of emulators, software, GPS spoofing or third party clients, there are other apps not in that range that promises helping players in catching ’em all.
Nevertheless, if you are one of those who tend to use third-party clients in catching ’em all and still want to stay true to playing Pokemon Go with your account, you may want to play safe and stick to being fair.
