A couple of days back, I published a report which stated that Etisalat was testing out it’s 4G LTE network service.
Apparently, the telecommunication company has rolled out the service and it’s currently available in some selected location.
4G LTE service in Nigeria seem to be what’s in vogue. MTN rolled theirs. Thereafter, GLO. Now, Etisalat. Airtel could be what’s next.
How to get on Etisalat 4G LTE network service
Unlike the norm with GLO and MTN, etisalat says you don’t necessarily need to swap Sims before being able to use it’s 4G network service.
Just get a phone that supports 4G LTE with 1800 band, put your SIM and you are good to rocking Etisalat 4G service. Of course, you need to be around a location that’s already been activated to use the service.
Etisalat also claims that the speed is between 25Mbps and 100Mbps.
Hence, if you have an Etisalat SIM and a 4G phone that supports the telecom 4G frequency, you should be able to utilize the service. However, as earlier stated, you need to be around a location that already has Etisalat 4G LTE network service activated.
