With 4G LTE connectivity being made available by most telecomm companies operating in Nigeria, it’s safe to say that 2G may be taking a seat soon.
While most Nigerian are still exploring nTel 4G LTE network and with MTN being new in the 4G LTE game (at least, in Nigeria), Etisalat seem to be gearing up for a complex competition as the company seem to be testing it’s 4G LTE network connectivity in Nigeria.
Etisalat 4G network mode was spotted around Lagos state while performing a random network search.
So far, NCC hasn’t exactly issued 4G license to GSM mobile operators in the country. MTN had to acquire Visafone in other to get the license needed. Etisalat on the other hand….. Well, fingers crossed.
No doubt, Etisalat on 3G network mode, is well known for it’s speed compared to other GSM mobile operators in the country operating under same mode. We’d certainly be looking forward to seeing what the 4G connectivity (when made publicly available) brings to the table in terms of speed and affordability.
SLOW GLO, how far with 4G LTE connectivity coming on board soon?
