Often described as the grandmaster of data plans in Nigeria, Globacom Nigeria has silently reduced it’s data volume at same old price.
Glo Nigeria for a long while now, has been offering the cheapest data plans in the country. Of course, this brought about a negative effect on the speed.
Unfortunately, the GSM operator has chosen to silently take a reverse. Before now, you could get 12GB for N3000. My favorite before switching to nTel was the 48GB plan for N8000. However, for same N3000 now, users now get just 6GB. And for N8000, glo users are only offered 16GB. That’s a huge difference if you ask me.
Glo Nigeria New Monthly Data Plans
Old prices still remains. Data plans have however, been (largely) reduced.
Glo isn’t the only one taking this change. NTel a few days back, increased it’s data plans too. Since inception, nTel offers monthly unlimited browsing for N10,000 valid for 30 days. Now, it has been increased to N12,500.
We can only hope the adjustment in glo’s data volume will spring up a positive change in the browsing experience. More so, we strongly hope MTN and Airtel do not follow suit.
