Sometime ago, precisely in August, we said that soon, users will be able to send and receive money using PayPal on BBM chats. While that feature has been launched and the bbm app updated to reflect the new change, some countries are still left out from using the PayPal money via BBM and that includes Nigeria.
Thankfully, Quickteller has come to the rescue. Latest development from Quickteller allows you send, receive and request money from your bbm contacts with ease.
Here’s how it works:
- First, you need to download the new Quickteller mini app from bbm.Quickteller.com. Alternatively, you can visit your phone’s app store and search for Quickteller mini.
- After downloading and installing, launch and follow the on screen instructions.
- If you have been using Quickteller before, enter same log in details on the app. If your first time, simply choose to register.
- Follow the onscreen instructions, verify your phone number and when prompt to link with BBM, choose to continue.
When that is complete, you can now launch the BBM app, open a chat with the contact you want to request money from. Tap the file button and tap on the Quickteller Mini option.
