In an era where phones with metal builds are being considered as premium, LG is announcing it’s first all-aluminium android smartphone.
The phone is called Zero which sorta reminds me of Chris Brown’s ‘Zero’ song. The LG Zero isn’t a flagship smartphone as the specs posses that of a mid-range phone.
Based on it’s all-metal body build, the smartphone sports an “Arc-Glass’ design on the edges thereby making the phone look slimmer and of course, much sleek. Hence, if you crave for an LG phone with a sleek and fashionable design, the LG Zero might be your best bet.
Below are the specs of the LG Zero
- Solid aluminium body in gold and silver options
- 5.0-inch 720p IPS display with “Arc Glass”
- 1.2GHz Quad-core CPU
- 1.5GB RAM
- Android 5.1
- 16GB internal storage, with MicroSD expansion
- 2050 mAh battery
- 4G/LTE support
- 13MP rear & 8MP front cameras
While the phone looks like a mid-range smartphone based on it’s specs, it sports same camera specs as that of it’s Older brother, the LG G4 (the company’s current flagship phone). Owing to the fact that same camera tech was used on both devices, we’d like to see how the Zero camera matches up with the G4 camera.
While no information has been given in regards pricing and availability, the company has confirmed that the LG Zero android phone will be hitting shelves in Taiwan this week, followed by other markets sometime in the future.
