While we are still expecting the Huawei P9 to be launched in March which is a few months from now, latest report suggests that the P9 design will be different from it’s predecessor which is the P8.
CNMO, a Chinese website, recently posted a sketch which is said to be what the P9’s design will be like. According to the sketch, Huawei P9 will be sporting a thin body, rounded corners, physical home screen buttons and a dual back camera.
While the Huawei P9 said to be sporting home buttons which is different from what was seen on the P8 may seem quite distant from reality, earlier report had suggested that the P9 will be sporting a different design of which if CNMO’s report is to go with, home buttons might be a part of.
It was also added that the P9 will be the first device to sport fingerprint scanner among the P series and perhaps, that could explain the need for home buttons on the device. But of course, the fingerprint scanner may as well be added in the back just as seen in some of the Huawei Mate Series.
Other specs of the device suggests that Huawei P9 might sport a 5.2-inch display, Octa-core Kirin 950 processor, 4 GB RAM, 3000mAh battery, 12 megapixels back camera. However, this reports should be taken with a pinch of salt.
