Blackberrg Priv Now Available In Nigeria At Slots Months After Launch

Blackberry’s first android-powered smartphone, Priv, was launched and released a couple of months back in the US and a few other countries subsequently.

The BlackBerry Priv gave a rise to BlackBerry’s last financial report and the company has said that it will be sticking with producing android powered smartphones this year 2016. Of course, Blackberry 10 users will still be getting subsequent OS updates. We should hopefully be getting reports of the BlackBerry Vienna soon.

Blackberry Priv now available in Nigeria

Anyway, the news is, after months of release, the Priv smartphone is now available in Nigeria and it’s currently available at Slots Retail outlets and a few other outlets in the country.

Price? Well, your guess is as good as mine. Considering the current exchange rate in the country, the Priv is currently being sold at N220,000 (Two Hundred and twenty thousand Naira). Someone please remind me of the cost of land at some locations in Nigeria lol.

  • Well, I would blame the price on the current exchange rate. But based on the reviews on the phone so far, I don’t think it’s a bad bargain.

  • The device has been available in Nigeria for a while now…
I saw it on my visit to Slot last year…
It was priced at N215,000 then so Felix, I don’t think the price is not because of the current exchange rate..
