While we are expecting the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 (rumored to be named Note 7) to be released in August, the device has appeared in new pictures and video leaks and this is perhaps, our first close look at the Note 6 / Note 7.
As speculated, the next Samsung Galaxy Note will be released in duo which shouldn’t come as a surprise following Samsung’s tradition.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 (or 7) will be having the standalone version and a Edge version – as seen with the Galaxy S7 duo. However, reports seems to be pointing that the Standalone might be called the ‘Samsung Galaxy Note 6‘ while the second variant will be called the ‘Samsung Galaxy Note 7‘. But then, these are just speculations. Nothing concrete yet. Not even what name Samsung is going to be naming the next Note.
Going through the leaked renders of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 6/7, the device will be sporting a USB-C port – A first on Samsung smartphones. And as you probably already know, USB-C basically enables faster data transfers and faster charging.
Looking at the dimension, the phone’s dimensions are purportedly around 153.5mm x 73.9mm x 7.9mm. That puts it broadly in line with the Galaxy Note 5, which comes in at 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm, and the Galaxy S7 Edge, which measures 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7mm.
While the images look stunning, please keep it at the back of your mind that these are leaks and leaks are subject to change or be accurate. A huge number of leaks we’ve shared in the past, often comes out to be accurate. However, to avoid stories that touch, grab your salt shakers and absorb this information with a pinch of salt.
