Samsung mobile, recently launched its latest addition to it’s Note Series known as the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
The phablet comes packed with lots of awesome specs and as seen on the Galaxy S7 duo, the Note 7 is waterproofed… Sort of.
Going by the specs of the new Note, it’s safe to say that the Galaxy Note 7 is just a Galaxy S7 Edge with an S-pen.
The Note 7 comes packed with 4GB RAM which isn’t exactly different from what most high-end smartphones released lately, has on board.
However, speaking at the Galaxy Note launch event in Seoul, South Korea, Samsung Mobile Chief, Koh Dong-jin, confirmed that the brand has plans to release a 6GB variant. Additionally, the 6GB variant will pack 128GB internal storage as the base.
While this sounds fascinating and really welcoming, there is a BUT. The 6GB variant, when released, will only be made available in China. Sad huh? Well, thanks for e-commerce stores.
Considering the competition in the Chinese market, and Samsung Mobile not doing so well in that region for the third year in a row, it only makes sense for the brand to launch smartphones with really high end specs which should thus, give the brand an upper edge.
It will also make more sense if Samsung makes the 6GB variant of the Galaxy Note 7 available globally and not only to China. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that’s happening. More information will be shared as soon as we have them.
