WhatsApp has constantly been releasing new features. The most recent on WhatsApp for iOS is the ability to send offline messages.
Before the latest update, iPhone requires internet connection before being able to hit the send button. That changed since the latest update. On the not so good side, WhatsApp already stopped working on some Android, iOS and Windows devices.
Latest news regarding the app, has it that Live Location Tracking will be coming on board soon.
Remember WaBetaInfo? The same twitter handle responsible for most WhatsApp beta news? They are also responsible for this information.

WhatsApp Live Location Tracking in Real time feature is pretty self explanatory. This will really come in handy if you are inquisitive about a contact’s location.
Interestingly, this feature is already available to some beta testers. It should hopefully be available to other users in the coming weeks.
The live location tracking can be kept on for 1 minute, 2 minute, 5 minutes, or indefinitely. By default, the feature is turned off and location tracking can be sent to a particular contact or members in a group chat.
By the way, who else feels like most features WhatsApp is introducing, is already available on BBM. The remarkable feature that’s not currently on BBM, would be the ability to format texts.
The ability to track a contact’s live location has been on BBM for a long time now. BBM uses a service called ‘Glympse‘ for live location tracking.
Regardless, it would be nice to have the live location tracking feature on the most popular mobile messaging app.
