Blackberry recently launched the Blackberry KEYone smartphone. A smartphone which caused quite a lot of buzz with it’s price tag.
While we are still trying to get a feel of the new device, alleged Images of the device better known as BBC100-1 built by PT BB Merah Putih for the Indonesian market has emerged.
The Blackberry Merah as we’d rather call it, is basically targeted for the Indonesia market. No report yet as to whether or not the device will be making its way to other markets.
This isn’t the first time report on the Blackberry Merah is making the rounds. Based on previous rumors, the device can be termed as a lower end smartphone.
Specs-wise, the device is rumored to run a Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. Other specs include a large 5.5-inch HD display, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 3000 mAh battery.
A rather interesting fact is that, the device will likely support dual SIM. If true, this will be the first device from Blackberry to support dual SIM in recent times.
As earlier mentioned, the Blackberry Merah is targeted at the Indonesia market. No word yet as to whether or not the device will have availability outside of Indonesia.
However, pending the time the report on the phone becomes clear, the Blackberry Merah has already been certified in Indonesia.
