Despite Android 7.0 developer’s preview being available for a while now, Google unveiled the new Android OS as Nougat. To make it not sound confusing, Google termed the new Android OS as Android 7.0 Nougat.

Thankfully, the factory images for the new OS are now available. Not to every smartphone, but currently for the Nexus 9, Pixel C and Nexus Player. Nevertheless, the images for the recent Nexus smartphones should be available soon.

It is also being said that the Android Nougat OS will be gracing the Huawei Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 5X, Motorola Nexus 6, HTC Nexus 9, Asus Nexus Player, Google Pixel C and other devices running the developer preview version.
