Ever since the new android 6.0 marshmallow OS was officially launched, some OEMs has actually released their list of devices getting the update. Samsung confirmed a list before the new OS was officially launched which was said will be getting the upgrade and based on leaks, the list seem to be of standard.
Same-day the android 6.0 Marshmallow OS was officially released, HTC revealed it’s list of android phones that will be getting the new OS upgrade. According to the company, the HTC One M8 and M9 will be getting the update before the end of the year while other eligible devices may have to wait a little longer.
Motorola recently followed suit with no date or time frame as to when the update will be rolled over to it’s list of eligible devices.
Yesterday, Google officially started rolling out the 6.0 marshmallow OS on it’s nexus devices. While some new devices and even one of 2013 will be getting the update, some of it’s nexus smartphone will be missing out on the new juice.
For some time now, there has been leaks in regards devices getting the new OS upgrade sooner or later. This has been flying around some Chinese sites and yes, we’d like to share the list here with you.
Following the list above, it is evidently that virtually every newly released phones from the respective OEMs stated in the list above will be getting the new OS update. Xiaomi even made the list which is quite awesome for a brand who (to me) seem to still be striving in the business compared to Samsung, Sony and the rest. Xiaomi is in the works of releasing it’s Mi 5 device and who know, the device might just be running android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. Elephone (not Elephant :-)) isn’t left out as well.
