Tecno Mobile, a few days back, launched a new smartphone to it’s line of
Canon Camon smart phones.
Just as it’s predecessor, the Tecno Camon C9 is being marketed as a camera smartphone and that even reflects in the packaging of the device.
Over the past few weeks, we shared leaked images and specs of the Tecno Camon C9 which turned out to be accurate and thankfully, we now have the device in our hands and we’d ask that you join us in unboxing the Tecno Camon C9.
Tecno, lately, doesn’t just focus on the smartphone design, they also tend to focus on the packaging too. The Boom J8 had a really nice packaging and the Camon C9 isn’t less.
The packaging consists of two packs featuring three major colors; Black, Blue and silver.
On top of the pack is a kinda design that resembles that of a camera lens which we believe, is what the smartphone is channeled at. The pack can be detached from the main blue pack containing all that Tecno has to offer with the Camon C9.
There’s really nothing at the sides of the smartphone except for the Tecno brand stated at all sides of the black and silver color pack.
At the bottom of the pack are the usual suspects; the phone’s specs, a label containing information on the phone’s color variant, IMEI number and a few other information that you probably shouldn’t care about.
Unboxing and What’s Inside The Pack:
Unboxing the pack, the first thing that graces the eyes is the beautiful Tecno Camon C9 Smartphone in its shades of glory.
What’s Inside The Pack:
Going further into the pack, these are basically what you’d find contained in the pack;
- The Tecno Camon C9 smartphone
- A Warranty card
- The Charger
- The USB Cable
- The Earpiece
- Pouch for Tecno Camon C9 and it’s friends
- A user manual
- Tecno’s usual warranty stickers
- Palmchat leaflet and,
- An ejector pin.
More On The Tecno Camon C9 Smartphone
Back to the main subject matter which is the Tecno Camon C9 smartphone itself, the device is available in three basic color variants. However, we have the sandstone black color variant here at TechsNG.
The front facing 13 megapixels camera is located at the top-center part of the screen while the front facing flash is at the top-left side of the screen. Same line with the camera placement.
Looking at the sides of the device, you have the vol+, vol- and the power buttons at the right side of the phone and on same right side, below actually, you have the camera shutter button just as seen on the Camon C8.
On the left side of the smartphone, there are no buttons there.
You have the charging part at the bottom of the phone and in that same region, Tecno didn’t disappoint by placing the microphone there (where else would the microphone be possibly placed?).
At the top of the smartphone, you have the 3.5mm Jack for you ear-phones and headphones and other than that, there’s nothing more in that region.
At the back of the device, you have the 13 megapixels rear camera at the center top and just after the camera, you have the LED flash. And just after the flash, you have the Tecno branding.
At the lower part of the back region, you have the Camon tag and just below that, you have the loud speaker.
Before we move over to the quick hands-on review of the device, we’d like you to feed on these images below. The images, we believe, are self explanatory.
